Terms of Service

These Terms of Service (“Agreement”) govern the use of gobreez.com as well as the rental of products from AE Rentals, LLC (dba Breez), including but not limited to Fridge-Microwave Combos, Digital Safes, Bed Lofts, and Air Purifiers, or any other rental or purchased product (“Products”). By placing an order or accepting delivery, the lessee (“You” or “Customer”) agrees to the following terms:

1. Product Maintenance & Use

AE Rentals, LLC will maintain all rental Products in good working condition, except for reasonable wear and tear. Malfunctions not caused by misuse, negligence, or irresponsible use will be repaired or replaced at no cost. You assume full responsibility for any damage caused during the rental period and agree to hold AE Rentals, LLC harmless for any such incidents.

2. Delivery & Installation

All Products will be delivered directly to your on-campus residence by the expected delivery date provided by your school, when possible. Delivery dates are not guaranteed and may vary due to inventory levels, school schedules, or housing changes.

3. Room Changes & Relocations

If you move rooms, you must update your customer profile or notify AE Rentals, LLC by email at least 24 hours in advance. You may move the unit yourself (other than BedLoft), but must inform us. If we are requested to move the unit or must retrieve it early, a $50 fee applies.

4. Returns, Cleaning & Parts

Failure to follow return guidelines may result in fees:

Late or early return (outside of regularly scheduled pickup): $50
Unreported room change or unit relocation causing extended search or late pickup: $50
Unit not located or retrieved after two pickup attempts: billed at full replacement cost
Missing or damaged parts: charged based on replacement value up to $50 per part
Fridges not defrosted, dried: $50
Fridge-Microwave combos not cleaned (unless you purchase Return Cleaning Protection): $50

By agreeing to these terms, you authorize AE Rentals, LLC to charge your payment method or school account for any of the above fees.

5. Pick-Up Policy

Pick-up instructions will be emailed to the address on file. Units must be left in your room for collection on the designated date, typically scheduled within two weeks prior to exam week. If you do not receive a return notice, it is your responsibility to contact AE Rentals, LLC to confirm pickup details.

Authorization

By signing or agreeing digitally, you authorize your school to allow AE Rentals, LLC access to your assigned room for delivery or pickup without staff supervision. The school and AE Rentals, LLC is released from any liability related to this access.

6. Damage, Loss & Replacement Fees

You agree to reimburse AE Rentals, LLC for any damage or loss of rented equipment beyond normal wear and tear. If legal action is necessary to recover such costs, you are responsible for associated attorney fees. Replacement costs for rental appliances and equipment can range from $250–$750.

7. Rental Product Delivery/Installation/Pick-Up Fee (DIP Fee)

This fee equals 50% of your total rental and is non-refundable within 24 hours of delivery.

8. Refund Policy

All rentals include a Delivery/Installation/Pick-Up Fee (“DIP Fee”) equal to 50% of your rental cost which is non-refundable within 24 hours of delivery. Refunds apply only to the remaining 50% unit portion at a prorated amount based on time of year. Refer to the detailed Refund Policy Page for full details.

9. All-Inclusive Warranty (Optional)

Covers damage or loss of all included parts and accidental misuse of all RENTAL Products. This includes, but is not limited to, the following components:

Fridge-Microwave Combo: interior shelving, door bars, microwave glass plate, turntable ring, legs, knobs, brackets, and casing dents or scratches due to accidental handling
Digital Safe: cable lock, interior mat, digital keypad, display screen, battery compartment, and structural dents or scratches due to accidental handling
Bed Loft: crossbars, end frames, safety rails, hardware (screws, bolts, pins), stabilizing feet, and paint or finish wear caused by normal use
Air Purifier: outer casing, power cable, internal fan, control panel/buttons, filter door, intake grill, and accidental surface scuffs or cracks

Exclusions include:

Lost or stolen units
Improper returns (uncleaned units, wrong pickup time/location)
Unauthorized moves that are not reported ahead of time to AE Rentals, LLC
Any charge not explicitly listed as covered

You are still responsible for excluded fees even if you purchase this warranty.

10. Return Cleaning Service (Optional)

No additional cleaning required outside of fridge must be unplugged, emptied, defrosted, and dried. If these steps are not followed, even with cleaning service, up to $50 in additional fees may apply.

11. Risk & Liability Waiver

You acknowledge and accept that use of any rental Product or purchased product is at your own risk. AE Rentals, LLC and your educational institution shall not be liable for any claims, injuries, losses, or damages—including but not limited to personal injury, death, or property damage—arising from the use, misuse, or malfunction of rental Products. This waiver applies to all users of the rented or purchased equipment or products and remains in effect for the duration of the rental term or throughout the use of the purchased product. You also acknowledge that you will be the only one

For loft rentals: Units are for single-person use only. Use of a safety rail is recommended but not guaranteed to prevent injury.

You further agree to indemnify and hold harmless educational institution and AE Rentals, LLC its affiliates, employees, contractors, and agents from any claims, liabilities, damages, and expenses (including reasonable attorney fees) resulting from your use or misuse of any rental Product. This indemnification also applies to any damages or claims arising from the use of the rental Product or purchased product by any third party, whether or not such use was authorized by you. You accept full responsibility for ensuring that any individual using the product does so safely, responsibly, and in accordance with these terms.

12. Privacy Policy

Your personal information will be collected, used, and protected according to our Privacy Policy. This includes data related to your order, communication preferences, and service fulfillment. 13. User Interaction Tracking

To enhance site performance and improve user experience, Breez uses secure tools that may track and record interactions such as clicks, scrolls, and navigation behavior. This may include session replay technology.

All data is handled securely and is used solely to optimize our website and services.
